Di butyl phthalate (DBP) is a commonly used plasticizer. It is also used as an additive to adhesives or printing inks. It is soluble in various organic solvents, e.g. in alcohol, ether and benzene. DBP is also used as an ectoparasiticide.
Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) is a main plasticizer for cellulose resin and PVC,especially for cellulose nitrate coating ,it offers good solubility ,dispersion and adhesion,capacity,it can work with dye for the dying of membrane,manmade leather and plastic product,it also can be used as softener of rubber.
